Consultant’s Profile
Dr Subbarayan is a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist currently based at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. He is the Lead Consultant for the Paediatric Obesity Service (CEW service) across Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire. His practice is dedicated to holistic, evidence-based care that supports children and young people in achieving better health outcomes.
He received specialist training in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and the internationally renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. He is also an active contributor to academic research, with peer-reviewed publications and current involvement in a multi-centre study on medication in the treatment of obesity in children and young people.
